People deriding AI use are simply the art world version of the 'Jock Bully' at high school.. Elitest, thinking their dexterity trumps your imagination. So whilst I am unable to use my hands with the degree of fine motor control that an artist with a brush may be able to, i can use use my mouse and voice, and words. People without conception of ai as a tool often lack the vocabulary to become decent prompt creators/engineers themselves. You do not see AI artists walking up to painters, criticizing their opposable thumb usage. Not least if people also work with photoshop on top of base images, create images, that are then enhanced or multi blended with ai. Use Any generative engine, like SD, or Mid journey, or iterative processes of them. For any one picture i like, I may have made, 5 thousand versions. I didn't make it for making money, i made it for my personal satisfaction, and after encouragement, was asked to start updating my deviations by friends. not that my motivations, or processes are really part of the art story, im not in that Art world of selling the shtick.
Aw, imagine breaking into someones car, stealing everything and when they try to sell it on Facebook, get called out just for them to "You're just jock bullies attacking me! I needed to steal because I don't want to learn"
Nah man, you're just an untalented thief. There's actual disabled artists who can draw. Just because you're too lazy, that's on you. You're not the victim, you're the kid that writes their name on someone elses quiz.
Isn’t it funny how noticeable (recognizable) ai art is - I hate seeing untagged work. It’s as clear as day - that these works are just seeded theft. Thank you for calling out hacks. Saw yer comment on the dystopian clickbait of the future for “art” - it’s like over touched up model photos (some cosplay) where you think to yourself “is this - 3D? No? Just contact lenses and tons of post work…. Nice….photo? Outfit?” Hahah praise be to the finger - it must point at anyone taking claim to “talent” in a pay to play artist world. Too bad someone is making money and real artists are still chomping on the fringe of society hoping for a break :(
